The Signature Global Story
Every developer has an origin story, but few move as fast as this one. Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Gurugram, the company commenced operations in the affordable housing segment and strategically ventured into the mid-income housing market in 2017, before entering a new chapter altogether. In 2024, Signature Global entered the premium housing segment and has since significantly strengthened its presence there, adding branded ultra-luxury addresses to a portfolio that began with modest 400-800 sq ft affordable flats. The company commenced its operations in 2014 through its subsidiary, Signature Builders Private Limited, with the launch of our Solera project on 6.13 acres of land in Gurugram, Haryana, and as of March 31, 2022, had sold 23,453 residential and commercial units, all within the Delhi NCR region.
The scale-up has been unusually rapid for Indian real estate. Signature Global was founded in Gurgaon in 2014 and it listed on the BSE and NSE on 4 October 2023 at a 16 percent premium to its 385 issue price. It has delivered 10.4 million square feet of housing and holds 32.2 million square feet in the pipeline, and is backed by IFC (International Finance Corporation) and Nomura. The developer commands around 36 percent share in the affordable and mid-housing segment in Gurgaon as of FY24 — the largest single share held by any developer in that segment in the city.
Having conquered the affordable and mid-segment, Signature Global is now writing its luxury chapter. FY24 revenue stood at ₹3,432 crore, with sales bookings doubling year-on-year to ₹7,270 crore, and momentum has continued: income from operations increased marginally to ₹2,595.86 crore last fiscal from ₹2,498 crore during 2024-25, with Chairman Pradeep Aggarwal targeting revenue recognition guidance of ₹5,000 crore for the current fiscal year. The most striking marker of this shift is the entry of a global supercar brand into its residential portfolio, with Signature Global Tonino Lamborghini Residences becoming India's first Lamborghini-branded residential project in Gurugram, developed with a huge investment of 2891 crores.
Build quality has kept pace with brand ambition. Strengthening its focus on safety and innovation, Signature Global has partnered with CECO Hirun Pvt Ltd to implement Hysteretic Tuned Mass Dampers in select high-rise developments, an advanced seismic safety technology that enhances structural resilience against earthquakes and high wind speeds. The company continues to adopt advanced construction technologies including plastering machines, curing compounds, safety screens, GreenPro-certified products, green steel, and renewable solar energy integration across its developments.
