Signature Global has announced a strategic partnership with the iconic Italian lifestyle brand, Tonino Lamborghini, aiming to develop a landmark luxury residential project in Sector 71, Gurugram, marking Tonino Lamborghini's official entry into the Indian residential market. The development, simply called Tonino Lamborghini Residences Gurugram, is the marque's first-ever residential venture in India, and it lands in one of the city's busiest growth corridors rather than in an established luxury pocket. According to the regulatory filing shared with exchanges, the upcoming branded housing project, named "Tonino Lamborghini Residences Gurugram", will be spread across 12.40 acres, comprising 812 luxury flats, in Sector 71. On the financial side, Signature Global has been transparent about the scale of the bet. The company said, "The estimated cost of the project is Rs 2,890.97 crore." The arrangement with the Italian brand is structured as a licensing deal rather than a joint venture: Signature Global has entered into a "licence agreement" with the Italian brand, and on the commercial terms, this will include a flat fee, paid in instalments, and an additional fee in case the topline exceeds a specified threshold. The design intervention by Tonino Lamborghini will extend across key lifestyle and architectural elements through the Creative Direction of Mrs. Angela Krieger – Tonino Lamborghini Total Living Creative Director - including a grand reception lobby and a fully curated clubhouse featuring a café, restaurant, banquet spaces, yoga, swimming-pool and gym facilities, spa & sauna, salon and a gaming arcade - creating a holistic luxury ecosystem. Industry watchers have flagged that this is a meaningful pivot for a developer once known chiefly for budget housing: this venture signals Signature Global's strategic move into the high-end market, leveraging international brand appeal to differentiate its offerings, marking a significant move from its established base in affordable and mid-income housing. Signature Global enters this branded-luxury chapter from a position of financial strength. Signature Global's net debt was Rs 200 crore at the end of 2025-26 against Rs 880 crore as of March 31, 2025, and the company has Rs 2,770 crore of cash and cash equivalents as of March 31, 2026. The chairman described the year's discipline in a public statement: "FY26 reflects our continued focus on disciplined growth, with a strong reduction in net debt, which now stands at a historic low, and steady operational performance across key metrics." On execution, the company's delivery record so far stands at as of December 2025, Signature Global has delivered 16.5 million square feet of real estate, giving the Lamborghini tie-up a track record to lean on even as it steps into an entirely new price bracket. For homebuyers, the location itself carries much of the story.
